QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field. Master Degree or CPA is a plus
- 5+ years of CFO experience in working in a leadership role in agriculture with strong accounting & auditing experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple accounting software packages
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong initiative, accountability, and supervisory skills, independence, time management are needed
- Knowledge and experience of cattle feeding, dairy, and farming is a must
- Analyzing farm data and working with farm programs, cost analyses, using KPI's to support decision making
- Ability to understand and work with margin improvement, breakeven thresholds, and operational efficiencies and deficiencies

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large Production Ag Operation that is vertically integrated in Farming and Dairy Operations in search of a Chief Financial Officer for its growing multi-generational agriculture company. The CFO will need to be a financial architect who will be a leader in our operation and responsible for driving capital formation, financial stewardship and profitability of the company. Will report direct to the CEO and will work closely with the COOs of both the Farm and Dairy operations, along with the HR Director as part of the Leadership Team.
